How was the performance of the real estate market of Greater Montreal in March 2021?  As you already notice that, the real estate market appears to be no end in sight for its boom!


Let us take a look at the record of the housing market in March 2021.

FOR SINGLE HOUSE MARKET:

(1) The highest sold price reached $8M (Senneville), followed by $5.9M (Ville Marie) and $4.3M (Outremont).


(2) The lowest sold price was $269K (RDP/PAT), then $281K (MTL Nord), and $312K (Pierrefonds).


(3) The top 3 areas with the most sales of single houses were as follows: 76 sold transactions in RDP/PAT, 49 sold transactions in Pierrefonds and 37 sold transactions in DDO.


The total sales of SINGLE HOUSES in Greater Montreal for March 2021 are as follows:

  • in Montreal: 599 sale transactions and 68 rental transactions were closed. 
  • in Laval: 317 sale transactions and 3 rental transactions were closed.
  • in Brossard: 87 sale transactions and 18 rental transactions were closed.

FOR CONDO MARKET:

(1) The highest sold price reached $2.12M (Ville Marie), followed by $1.57M (Westmount) and $1.52M (Le Sud Ouest)

(2) The lowest sold price was $74K (L'ile Biz/Genevière), $125K (LaSalle), and $169K (Anjou).

(3) Top 3 areas with the most sales of condos were as follows: 208 sold transactions in Ville Marie, 183 in Le Sud Ouest and 126 in Mercier/Hochelaga .


The total sales of CONDOS in Greater Montreal for March 2021 are as follows:

  • in Montreal: 1424 sale transactions and 807 rental transactions were closed.
  • in Laval: 196 sale transactions and 33 rental transactions were closed.
  • in Brossard: 107 sale transactions and 20 rental transactions were closed.
